Alan Sugar is one of the world’s most famous businessman. He has won multiple awards for his company; Amstrad and he has even met Queen Elizebeth II. In his autobiography, he describes the journey throughout his life and challenges he had to overcome.
I found his book very interesting, especially at the part where he met Ann in the youth clubs because, he talks about their relationship and their wedding, it was very interesting. I also liked the part when he talks about how he became a lord and got knighted and it was very nice to see the photos.
One highlight for me in the book is that Alan Sugar got to introduce a PC to King Charles in the palace. I definitely think that ‘The Apprentice’ and ‘The Junior Apprentice’ was another highlight for me in his book and it was very exciting to read how it all started and see pictures of the winners.
When people were against him in the football industry and they were waving banners which said “SUGAR OUT” he still stayed strong. When the press and news started to be insolent, he told them that he isn’t the kind of person to just sit back and let them affect him.
Is What You See Is What You Get Worth Reading?
I enjoyed reading about Alan Sugars grit and how he never took ‘no’ for an answer. Whenever he makes a promise to the public, he always executes it.
Overall, I would definitely recommend this book to anyone seeking an inspirational and interesting book to read
