Meet Scarlet and Ivy, twins who attend Roakwood school – two problem-solvers and investigators. It all starts with Scarlet’s disappearance, when Ivy  is called to take her place at Roakwood school for girls. There, she finds a series of clues and trails that leads her to Scarlet, while learning how not to arouse suspicion and make some friends along the way. However, their malicious principal is close to discovering Ivy’s plan. Throughout the series, they face dark secrets, terrifying threats, and the truth about their family.

My favourite part of the series is in the first book, when Ivy finally finds Scarlet with her new friend Ariadne by carefully piecing together all the clues. It was really interesting to see how all the pieces of the puzzle came together.

My favourite character is Scarlet because I love her personality and how she is really bold and able to stand up to bullies. Also, even though she is not a high scorer academically, she is very smart when it comes to clues and problem solving. Overall, I loved reading this series and I felt I grew alongside the characters and got to know them as if they were real. I would recommend this book to anyone who enjoys detective stories.
